Did I detect a sardonic note? I did e-mail Ken Lewis, just as I had earlier written Dwane Ackerman, CEO of BellSouth and our First Lady, Mrs. Bush. Result? SATISFACTION!!!

Baptist Hosp. CEO didnt' respond, but its oversight agency did, requiring its ER to file a "plan of correction" and putting it on probation for a year.

Quit venting, and get some results.

Did you know they rearrange the order of your pending debits to create numerous overdraft fees? They take your biggest debit and move it under your other pending debits so they can then charge you for $35 for six instead of one if you are low on funds.They admit that they do it because its a benefit to the customer. I told them thats BS. I was charged $175 because my mortgage payment came in on top of the other paid pending. I accepted the one $35 charge, but they moved it BELOW the others created 5 overdrafts. I told them they just lost a 12 year customer. Rip offs.

I've had constant problems with BofA.

I call and complain and they return part of what they purloin.

I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and The Office of the Comptroller of Currency. below are their web sites where you file a complaint electronically. I also found this organization and filed a complaint with my congressman.

everyone here should do the same.

Let me be bold... (I am usually humble) I have NO debt of any kind. NONE! I'm RICH. I travel/vacation out of country more than half of every year. I own 6 rental houses. I live in a 3,000 square foot home next to a golf course that I paid for in CASH on the same day that I bought it. I have approximately half a million dollars invested, even after the US stock market collapse. I have $100,000 set aside for emergencies.

I have a 842 FICO score. I HAD a $49,900 credit line with MBNA. I always paid on time.

IN MAY OF 2009 MBNA CUT MY CREDIT LINE IN HALF WITHOUT TELLING ME while I was traveling out of country for 4 months. FOR NO REASON. (They admit this openly.)

I called, and the lady convinced me to apply for a credit increase whereupon it was REDUCED AGAIN TO 12,000 since I quote, "wasn't working"??? After telling me I was applying for an instant "INCREASE"?!!??!!! She did this while I was on the phone to complain about the 25k limit reduction!

I'm rich. I'm travel. It's illegal for me to work in Canada while I'm SKIING AT A RESORT for 4 months. SUCKS to be me I guess... LOL However, this was my ONLY card I used BECAUSE it had a $49,900 credit limit. I had even canceled others. They cut me off at the kneecaps and I have a PERFECT credit record.


How does this affect me? I buy houses at public auction. I MUST PAY CASH FOR HOUSES BY THE END OF THE SAME BUSINESS DAY THAT I BUY THEM. That means coming up with up with $200,000 cash in less than 5 hours. I don't want to remove the cash from somewhere where it's earning money like stocks until I'm SURE that have won a house at auction. I win a house, then I get the shortest term loans I can, and start cashing out stocks. Bank loans are 6 month, and cost a LOT in interest. The credit card I Can pay off in less than a month and cost me NOTHING. (I used the card as a fast cash buffer.)

NOW, if I have to have $200,000 sitting in an account doing NOTHING waiting for the day I MIGHT buy a house, I WILL LOSE MONEY ON IT.


With my credit limit being decreased by MBNA, I have LOST my buffer to transfer funds. What they have done WILL COST ME MONEY and AFFECT THE VALUE OF THE HOMES that I can purchase.


Let me CONFIRM:
Arbitrary limit cuts are a tool to reduce MBNA's relationship with less profitable borrowers (the ones that pay their bills with higher credit scores.)

Arbitrary limit cuts are used as an excuse to end a relationship with undesirable borrowers that don't use their cards much or those that don't run their credit up to the top of their limit. (card holders that don't make them money.)



MBNA has AFFECTED MY LIVELIHOOD for NO REASON other than the fact that I don't make THEM money. I was faithful to them, and always paid before my bills were due.


THIS IS THE REWARD I GET FOR BEING A GOOD CUSTOMER ALL THESE YEARS???

Thanks MBNA. You've lost my trust AND my money from now on... I will avoid you like the plague and advise ANYONE I know to NEVER USE BANK OF AMERICA and advise them to remove their existing investments with you as I have.

My Bank of America credit limit $5000.00, account balance $3770.00, paid off entire balance, within two days B of A lowered limit to $500.00 then they closed the account. Phone inquiry resulted in an excuse of my credit review warranted they should close my account. When they were told ALL of may credit cards had been paid down to zero balance, there was a long pause and then more excuse. Oops. Needless to say B of A will never be on my list again or their subsidiaries.

I have been with BOA over 25 years. They have done many bad things to my Small Business but this Feb what they did was the last straw. The first time they ripped (tried to) me off was in 1993. I was in San Francisco on a business trip. I tried to get money from ATM and was denied. I went inside that branch and asked them to look into my account. They told me that I was also denied 20 minutes ago in Studio City (Southern California) at a gas station. I told them that I do go over speed limit often but by not that much. My account was completely emptied and over $3000.00 was gone. I asked for an investigation. Few weeks later they sent a Boiler Plate letter saying that I was responsible for the lost because I had given authority to others to use my ATM card. Since I lived alone and was sure that nobody had access to my card I told them that my lawyer will get in touch with them. It was amazing how fast they refunded all my money plus all the fees. When my lawyer asked them for the result of their investigation they refuse to give it to him and just said that it was an insider job. Another time they were going to freeze my assets due to a stupid lawsuit which thanks to the local branch manager being my friend I was alerted and emptied my account.

Fast forward to Jan, 2012. I received a letter saying that they are closing my Line Of Credit without any explanation. The only explanation I got was from someone on the phone, she said they are discontinuing that product (BS). I asked her then to refund my annual fee which they had just charged my account. She said ok and put a request for refund. I have been checking my account to see if they have or not and have not seen any refund. I want to get that money before I close all my accounts with them. I have already moved most of my accounts to my wonderful local Credit Union. Today I called them again and asked them to give my money back. Here the funny excuse they gave me; since it takes three weeks to do a refund if during those three weeks anyone clicks on your account, the computer automatically cancels the request for refund. I wonder how much they spend for this magical computerized accounting system?. I am going to the local branch where my friend is the Branch Manger and will tell her why I have to close my accounts. I am planning to give her a card that says “Bank Of America, We are too Big To Care”
